Two days packed with high level information on the Triphasic Training concept, practical applications and discussions with a legend and one of the most respected coach in the world. All this complemented by great facility and a packed group of like-minded coaches.

What will we learn in the course?

  • This course introduces Cal Dietz’s Triphasic Training methodology, a comprehensive approach to athletic development focusing on optimizing muscle action.
  • Participants will learn the foundational principles of Triphasic Training, which emphasizes the three distinct phases of muscle action: eccentric, isometric, and concentric.
  • The course delves into the importance of eccentric training for deceleration, tissue remodeling, and injury prevention, highlighting the concept that „you cannot produce what you cannot absorb.“
  • Isometric training is explored for its role in developing the ability to withstand increased forces and generate power by minimizing energy „leakage.“
  • Concentric training, the „typical“ strength training phase, is discussed as the integration of all three phases for efficient and powerful movement.
  • Specific exercises and training methods for each phase are presented, including hands-assisted safety bar split squats, partner pull-ups, and various manual resistance techniques.
  • The course covers the Triphasic Muscle Action Block, which sequences eccentric, isometric, and concentric actions for optimal training transfer to sport-specific movements.
  • Advanced concepts such as supramaximal training and its application within each phase are explained, with cautions for implementation with only advanced athletes.
  • The „Goat Performance Drill,“ a brain and skill development exercise focused on releasing key neurotransmitters, is thoroughly examined, including variations and benefits.
  • The use of the 1080 Sprint system is discussed for overspeed training, correcting movement patterns, and integrating into weight room Functional Transfer Complexes (FTCs).
  • Triphasic Standing Horizontal Hip Variations („The Yuri“) are presented as highly transferable speed exercises, with a focus on foot positions and coaching points.
  • The course addresses common movement dysfunctions and provides solutions, including lateral and spiral sling fixes, as well as strategies for force plate reading interpretation.
  • Performance Pattern Cycling is introduced as a method to avoid negative training effects and optimize motor learning.
  • Inter-Set Tonus Creep Reduction Principle and the use of Intra-Set RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset) are discussed for improving performance and reducing muscle tonus.
  • Specific Muscle Fiber Density Training (SMFDT) is covered, explaining how to train fast and slow twitch fibers in a highly targeted manner.
  • Additional topics include sodium loading for athletes, Kinetic Chain Rate Limiters, NeuroBalance Sync Stack for parasympathetic activation, and the Athletic Hypertrophy Control Principle.

… and lots of other topics!

The seminar will be conducted entirely in English.

Capacity is limited so do not hesitate!
